Below, we show you the impacts of COVID-19 on education.

Closure of Schools

Closure of SchoolsGovernment directives saw the closure of many schools all over the world. For 18 months, 77 million students were locked out of their classrooms. Students lost the right to education because of the government order that people should stay at home.

However, even when restaurants and other businesses reopened, schools remained closed. Students ended up losing an entire school year.

Remote Learning

With the closure of schools, teachers had to come up with creative ways of teaching their students.
